Shipping & Returns
Updated January 2020: Flat rate shipping of $6.95 on all domestic orders under $50.00.

Free Shipping on orders of $99.00 or more.
All rates above apply to retail orders in the USA (before shipping and taxes). Note that the total before shipping is added is AFTER you may have applied a discount code.
We ship via USPS either First Class or Priority Mail depending on the size of the package. We do not offer expedited shipping at this time. Orders are processed and shipped first-come-first-served and usually leave our warehouse 4 to 7 business days from the day the order was received. However, during busy times (including the Autumn/Halloween rush, which usually ends by Thanksgiving), orders usually leave our warehouse 7 to 10 business days from the day the order was received.
We use PayPal for online credit card transactions but you don't have to have a PayPal account to checkout. Just follow the simple instructions on the first PayPal page to check out without signing into PayPal.
Updated February 2022: European customers: Sorry but we can no longer ship to any European countries until international postal services get untangled.
Updated October 2021: Australia & New Zealand customers: Due to issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the USPS has temporarily suspended First Class Package International Service AND Priority Mail International Service to Australia & New Zealand. All orders to Australia & New Zealand will be shipped using UPS Worldwide Expedited Service until further notice.
Shipping costs DO NOT include customs duties, taxes, and related fees. International customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and other fees incurred after a package is mailed. Additional charges billed by the destination country are not predictable, not part of what we can pay ahead of time in shipping costs, and will not be refunded if charged. We advise international customers to investigate and prepare for additional fees that will be due to their destination country.
Updated January 2021: UK customers: Sorry but we can no longer ship to the UK (the new tax/import forms are too complicated for a small business).
Updated January 2020: $20.00 will automatically be charged for all international orders, for shipping via USPS First Class International service. Note: additional shipping charges may still be required; if so, you will be contacted via email.
Updated November 2010: Due to an influx of International buyers who have refused to pay additional shipping charges on their orders (and people who randomly change their minds) we will now be charging a restocking fee of 5% on all orders that are canceled the customer. We will also be charging a 10% restocking fee for any international order that has to be canceled by us due to non payment of additional shipping charges.
Updated January 2013: We reserve the right to make ribbon, trim or embellishment substitutions in kits, based on availability from the manufacturer. (Ribbons are generally only changed when a color is discontinued).
Updated March 2013: We have few strict rules, but one of them does concern returns. First, we do not accept returns on cut ribbons, yardage, magazines, books, collage sheets or opened "packaged" items.
Furthermore, there are NO refunds on digital downloads (whether pdfs of collage sheets or downloadable sets of png or jpeg files).
Pre-approval for all returns must be obtained by email (please explain the reason for the return when emailing). We honor returns 30 days from the ship date only (no exceptions to this rule). All returns will be given store credit, no refunds. Ordinarily you will not be credited for shipping. We absolutely do not credit for used merchandise, unless there is a problem with the manufacturing of the product. We do not accept any returns on "Special Orders."
