Description
A lovely mix of 19th century engravings, from illustrations of women as flowers by JJ Grandville and bouquets from The Language of Flowers. Note that the 5 bouquets include text naming the flowers in each bouquet (the choice of flowers in the bouquets being a kind of hidden/coded message).
